Don't share personal information online, even with people you view as friends.

Your full name (Use a fun internet name instead), your address, your date of birth, the name of your school, your telephone number and email address.
Keep Intruders out.
If you have been receiving messages from people that you don't know, ask your parent or teacher to help you block them. Don't accept friends request people you don't know.
Keep your computer safe.
Never open email or attachments from people that you don't know, they may contain harmful viruses that could damage your compute.
Keep your distance.
Never meet someone who has contacted you online- they might not be who they are.
